I am happy to announce the results of the APBioNET ExCo election for the period 2026-2028, which were made public on the second day of InCoB/ISCB-APAC 2026, 16th Septembter 2026, during the APBioNET Annual General Meeting.
We received a total of 12 candidate nominations, of which 7 were elected as ExCo Members. E-voting was carried out and confidentially totaled by myself and the Secretariat.
Congratulations to Dr. Achille Zappa, Dr. Adaikalavan Ramasamy, Dr. Harpreet Singh, Dr. Lam Su Datt, Ms. Esra Busra Isik, Dr. Ragothaman Yennamalli and Prof. Dr. Sarinder Kaur Singh on being elected as new APBioNET ExCo members for the term 2026-2028.
Special thanks to Dr. Bernard Lee, Dr. Shuhaila Mat Sharani, Dr. Marla Endriga, Dr. Mouliraj Palanisamy and Neha for taking part in the election – these young scientists need more exposure and we encourage them to continue actively contributing to APBioNET towards success in the next election.
