Advisory Board was established to shape the future direction of the organisation. This is also a way to maintain a connection with those individuals who have contributed significantly to APBioNET.
The roles and responsibilities of the Advisor Board members are as follows:
provide wise counsel on issues raised by ExCo
provide unbiased insights and ideas from a third point-of-view (not involved in the operation of the organisation)
encourage and support the exploration of new strategic directions/ideas
act as a resource for the ExCo
encourage the development of a governance framework that enable sustainable growth of the organisation
monitor growth performance
impose challenges to ExCo that could improve or grow the organisation
