Advisory Board was established to shape the future direction of the organisation. This is also a way to maintain a connection with those individuals who have contributed significantly to APBioNET. The roles and responsibilities of the Advisor Board members are as follows:
  • provide wise counsel on issues raised by ExCo
  • provide unbiased insights and ideas from a third point-of-view (not involved in the operation of the organisation)
  • encourage and support the exploration of new strategic directions/ideas act as a resource for the ExCo
  • encourage the development of a governance framework that enable sustainable growth of the organisation
  • monitor growth performance
  • impose challenges to ExCo that could improve or grow the organisation
